10 Miles With JESUS

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Beloved Compatriots!

 

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, we will mark the 10th anniversary of the Great Act of Penance of the Polish-American community of the East Coast.

 

On this special occasion, we invite everyone to join in prayer, penance, acts of reparation, and entrust. Ten years ago, at the conclusion of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, we gathered at the Divine Mercy Hill in Verona, in spiritual union with our Homeland, to ask God for forgiveness for our sins, as well as those of our families and our Homeland.

 

After ten years, we wish to stand once again in that same place as one great Polish-American family. We wish to humbly ask God for mercy for ourselves and our families, and to entrust to His care our Homeland, Poland, and our second homeland, the United States. We will pray in a special way for world peace, for an end to wars and conflicts, for the cessation of violence, hatred, and suffering, and for reconciliation among nations. May this jubilee be a time for us to renew our faith, return to God, and offer penance and reparation for our sins. Let us entrust our families, our homelands, and the future of the entire world to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

7th Annual 24-Hour Meditation on the Passion of the Lord

3:30 PM – Holy Mass

5:00 PM – Commencement of meditations on the Passion of the Lord Jesus

 

Prayer and meditation on the Passion of the Lord Jesus will continue uninterrupted for 24 hours, until 5:00 PM on Friday, November 6. We cordially invite you to join in this prayer and to keep a personal vigil with the suffering Christ. May the meditation on His Passion lead us to sincere contrition, reparation, and an even deeper union with His Most Sacred Heart.

PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• Adoration of the Cross

• Conferences / Discussion panels

• Holy Mass

• Penitential service with prayer of reparation and adoration

• Act of Consecration of ourselves and our families to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
   

We invite parish communities, prayer groups, families, married couples, children, youth, singles, and the elderly. Let us come with our cares, life experiences, intentions, and petitions. Let us come with humble and contrite hearts, desiring to seek forgiveness, offer reparation, and entrust to God everything we carry in our hearts.

 

May our gathering be a time of special grace, reconciliation, the renewal of faith, and the strengthening of our bond with God. Let a united cry rise from our hearts: "Lord, have mercy on us!"
