Our Event
"These HOURS are the order of the universe and keep Heaven and earth in harmony and keep Me from completely destroying the world. I feel you setting in motion my Blood, my wounds, my love and all that I have done. And it flows over everyone to bring salvation. everything. "
(Volume 12, May 16, 1917)
On Friday, November 8, 2024, at 3:30 pm, we will begin another 24-hour vigil of meditating on the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to God's Word by Luisa Piccarreta. We will fulfill the request of the Lord Jesus, who in the 24 hours of the Passion says this to Luisa:
"Oh, how much I wish that in every locality at least one person would contemplate these HOURS OF MY SUFFERING! I would hear myself in every locality, and my justice, greatly indignant at these times, would be partially softened. "
"My daughter, if the crosses, mortification and every kind of cross are immersed in my Passion in thoughts, they lose half their toil and burden."
Promises for those who contemplate the "Hours of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ
-
if a sinner contemplates them, he will receive the grace of conversion;
-
if he is imperfect, he will become perfect;
-
someone who succumbs to temptation will be victorious;
-
the suffering man will find strength, medicine and consolation in these Hours;
-
and if his soul is weak and destitute, he will find a spiritual mirror in which he will constantly look at himself to become like Jesus, our model.
Let us make amends to God for our sins and the sins of the whole world!
This year we are praying for peace in the world and atonement of our sins and the sins of the whole world
The prayers will continue for 24 hours. In each hour we will have 30 minutes meditation on Passion of the Lord recorded by Luisa Piccarreta, followed by 30 minute adoration and contemplation.
